Zander, the owner of Grimm's bar, was a serious man who dedicated himself entirely to running his establishment. That was, until the day he encountered a woman who would change his life forever. In a moment of what seemed like inexplicable action, Zander pushed this woman, Rosalie, away, only to watch her fall into a dangerous situation.

Consumed by guilt over his unexpected behavior, Zander found himself unable to stay away from Rosalie's hospital bedside, hoping against hope that she could somehow sense his presence and know that he was there for her.
